Zachary Ryan

At Age 17, Zachary Ryan started and completed his first novel Long Waited Revenge. He continued to write novels until he wrote Tinsel Town, which would be his first novel at 20 years old. At the time, Zachary Ryan went by Zachary Ryan Lindner for his first eight novels. Zachary Ryan self-published two novels Tinsel Town and Love at First Assassin. before signing with his first publishing company, Publish America. Zachary then went to publish six books with Publish America: two poetry books, Writing My Heart Out and I’m Weightless. A short story novel, Lifetime of Red lights, and three novels, Love Triangle, All American Family, and Sex, Lies, and Cupcakes.

At Age 23, Zachary Ryan moved to Chicago where his life and writing style completely changed. Zachary Ryan had accepted his sexuality and fully came out to his friends and family. Zachary decided to use this time to be more honest with his writing and write novels he was more passionate about. He decided to drop Lindner from his author name to be able to separate himself from his precious works.

Zachary Ryan also decided that it was best for him to go back to self-publishing. Zachary Ryan went on to publish four novels under his new name: Letters, Lost Friend Found, The Fifth Coupon, and How are you today, Theo Cody? Zachary had created two different writing styles at this time of his life. He wanted to celebrate both of his writing styles. One being his serious side with LGBT and coming of age novels, while the other being his sassier side and writing novels that are very caddy, gossipy, and salacious.

At the age of 28, Zachary Ryan signed with another publishing company, Kingston Publishing. Zachary was discovered after hiring one of the owners of the company to edit the synopsis for one of his novels. Eventually, they signed him, and he released ten novels with the company: The High School Queen’s trilogy, Thirst Trap, Silent Screams, Cutthroat Cheerleader, Playlist, Camp Afterlife, Missed Calls, and The Perfect Sister.

Zachary Ryan started to gain both commercial and critical success during this time-period. He had four number one Amazon Bestsellers: Cutthroat Cheerleader, Playlist, Camp Afterlife, and Missed calls. He has also gained recognition in the several book contests. His novels, High School QueensThe Revenged QueenOne Queen of an EndingThirst TrapSilent ScreamsCutthroat Cheerleader, and Playlist have all received the Literary Titan Silver Award. His novel, Thirst Trap, received an Honorable Mention in the International Readers Favorite Book Awards. His novel, High School Queens, received Finalist in the International Readers Favorite Book Awards. His novel, High School Queens, is a semi-finalist in the Dante Rossetti Awards. Camp Afterlife got third in the Global Book Award contest and a finalist for The Book Excellence Contest.

At the age 32, Zachary Ryan left Kingston Publishing, where he is now self-publishing again with his newest novel Ride, which already has become his fifth number one Amazon Best Seller.

Zachary Ryan currently resides in Chicago with his Husband, Edgar. Zachary has written over seventy novels, and published twenty-three novels.
